Camping at Currant Creek

This past weekend we took our first real camping trip with our kids. We have gone before with our family, but we have stayed in a hotel, while the rest have camped. We recently purchased a used tent trailer, so we thought we could handle camping with three kids under three. Most everyone in my family already has a tent trailer, so we thought we needed one so we could join in the activities.
The girls were really excited to go and talked about sleeping in our tent trailer. We did not want to squeeze in three porta-cribs, so we decided to let the girls sleep in a bed. The girls slept on one side of the trailer, while Bob and I were on the other, and G in a porta-crib. It actually worked out quite well.
A week or so before we left Bob decided to set up the trailer at my sister's A's house to check to see if everything worked. He had to replace the water heater, and worked on the back lights (which he never did get to work) before we left. I know everything was getting stressful for him. I think he was glad to finally go and be done with fixing things. I guess we can work on the lights later.
We went to Currant Creek Reservoir, which is up the canyon from Strawberry. My brothers and sisters all brought there kayaks, we had a total of 16. I guess someday we will also need to buy a kayak to fit in. The girls and their cousins all had a good time at the lake; either in the kayaks or just wading and throwing rocks into the lake.
We did some fun activities at camp like family skits and several of the cousins reading us the stories that they made up for the trip. We had some great food like dutch oven cheesy ham and potatoes and pizza. Bob and some others stayed up way in the night playing games. We had fun and our excited for our next camping trip next month.
