County Fair

My children always enjoy going to the County Fair. They really enjoy the animals and participating in the other kid activities.

They have fun riding the ponies. It was nice that the girls could ride them by themselves this year, so I did not have to walk around and around with them.

They usually have a petting zoo where kids can go in the cage with the animals. This year they had a lot more animals, but the you could not go in with them. The goats were really friendly. They got used to everyone feeding them and would stick their heads out as far as they could. Sometimes my kids can be so shy around other people, but when they are around animals they are not shy at all. I am always surprised at how comfortable they are around sheep, goats, pigs and other farm animals.
