We drove down, stopping in Las Vegas. I had forgotten what a crazy city it is. We enjoyed watching the fountains and the volcano.
After Las Vegas we drove to San Diego. We visited the San Diego Temple and spent some time on the beach. The next morning we went to Sea World. We really enjoyed seeing all of the animals and the shows. Shamu was amazing and it was very impressive what these animals can learn to do.
We spent the rest of the week at Disneyland. A lot of the bigger rides you need to be 40" to ride, our girls were so close but not quite there. Maybe next time. They have a special Halloween firework show and other Halloween things. Apparently a lot of people wanted to participate in the Halloween things because it was very crowded; a lot more crowded than we had expected and Disney had expected. The firework show was awesome, they used the music from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Because it was so crowded they extended their hours and added an extra Fantasmic show.
The kids loved meeting all of the characters, although sometimes they took a little time to warm up to them. H even convinced Woody to dance (walk around) with her in the parade. We had a great time and are looking forward to our next trip.
It was fun to celebrate the girls' birthday there. They received a gift card for souvenirs and a birthday button. Since they had on their buttons everyone knew it was their birthday and wished them Happy Birthday. (There were many celebrating their birthday at Disneyland.)

How fun!!!! It was probably a great time to be there...not too hot and not too long of lines. Looks like you had a SUPER time!!!
