Parade and BBQ

Tonight our ward had an amazing party. We started off with a children's parade complete with a police escort. The kids were supposed to decorate their bikes and we ride/walk around the block. Most of the neighbors are in the parade, but we do have a few spectators. Since my kids do not ride their bikes very fast, and their power wheels battery is not working, we borrowed my friend Jill's awesome wagon.
After the parade we met at the park for a BBQ and carnival. The food was great and the activities were a lot of fun. We had a candy cannon (separated by age group), face paintings, cotton candy, a giant slip-n-slide, and a duck pond toss.

We had a lot of fun. This has become a tradition in our ward, and I hope they continue it for a long time.
