We celebrated my Grandma's 94th birthday. (It was on Aug. 11) We were really excited that she came up with us to Bear Lake. It is tradition at Bear Lake to do the Hokey Pokey and other dances like the Virginia Reel. (My Grandpa really enjoyed this every year while he was still with us. We actually did the Hokey Pokey after his funeral at the luncheon for the family in his remembrance.) We did a pinata, and were going to start the dances, but decided to get a picture with my Grandma and her great-grandchildren that were there. After the picture, my Grandma got up and started to fall. One of my cousins and his son tried to catch her and my Grandma hurt her Collarbone. My mom, Aunt and another cousin took her to the hospital where they told her it was broken. (Later a doctor in Logan checked her out and told her it was just bruised.)
My sister J and her family brought their tent trailer and slept in it next to the cabin. One morning they noticed a friend living next to them. Next to the cabin was a ladder. Apparently the rung of the ladder was a home to our new friend, a rattle snake.
