On Wednesday we went to the Davis County Fair. H and R got to ride ponies and pet the the animals at the petting zoo. H wanted to ride the ponies, but once they started walking she wanted to get off. She made it through the ride, better than last year when she got off in the middle of the ride. It is interesting to see her have to warm up to everything new that we do, but immediately when we went to the petting zoo she went right up to the goats, pigs, sheep, llama and donkey and wanted to pet them. She must really like animals. We also saw some snakes, a turtle, spiders, scorpions and other reptiles.
At the end of the night they did some fireworks. H and R seemed to like them a lot more this time than they did on the Fourth of July. H did get a little nervous, but did seem to like them pretty quickly.
We also went to a lumberjack show, but it was not quite what I expected. I was a little dissapointed. We had fun at the fair this year. It was especially fun because it was free.
