Disney on Ice

For H's and R's birthday Grandma and Papa gave them tickets for Disney on Ice. We went on Saturday, which I thought would be a great entry to our Disney World vacation. Aunt K told us we had to have the girls dress up like princesses. We bought the girls a Cinderella dress and a Sleeping Beauty dress. They looked so cute.

When we first got there and saw others walking to Energy Solutions Arena, we did not see any other princesses dressed up. I felt a little silly but Bob said, "Our girls will just be the cutest ones here." I agreed. Once we made it into the arena we saw several other princesses, but of course ours will still the cutest.

We had great tickets. We were pretty much the front row on the left corner of the stage.

The girls got excited to see Mickey and friends come out on stage. Soon after the Genie from Aladdin came out and they did not like him so much. There were several parts of the show that were a little scary and the girls did not like it and started crying, like when Pinocchio got eaten by the whale. This made me a little nervous about our trip to Disney World. We took the girls to Disneyland when they just turned one and cried at almost everything. I did not want this trip to Disney World to be quite so scary, but wanted to girls to actually have fun and enjoy it. It gave me hope at the parts of the show that the girls seemed to enjoy like the princesses and Mickey. H was disappointed that they did not include Sleeping Beauty as one of the princesses in the show.
We had a great time. Thanks Grandma and Papa for the tickets.
