This is the Place Heritage Park

Yesterday was Jon Hunstman Sr. Day at This is the Place Heritage Park, which means FREE DAY. We went last year, and had a lot of fun. We decided to go again, even though it was a rainy day.

We got to pet the animals on the farm. For some reason H is really shy around most people, but she really warms up to animals like sheep, goats and bunnies. As soon as we saw them she went right up to them to pet them and feed them grass. The girls rode a pony. We also got to play school, ride a train, visit the barber and blacksmith and see how they used to make newspapers. Oh, and they also gave us free ice cream. (Do you see a pattern?) We got caught in the rain a couple times, but most of the day was okay. Bob came over on his lunch, but it rained most of the time he was there. We had fun and are glad we could spend the day with our fun cousins and aunts.
